Changeable Opera Tent

The organisers of the 2013 International Gymnastics Festival were on the lookout for a stage that could be erected and dismantled again within an extremely short time and which, when down, would be hidden to the greatest extent possible. It was essential that nothing should obstruct the view of the water tower during the opening ceremony as the emblem of Mannheim became the emblem of the Gymnastics Festival in this show.

On the next morning, however, the stage had to be ready for being played upon again. And that is why our Opera-Tent stage system was chosen. It not only fulfilled the requirements of rapid erection and dismantling, but was also a true eye-catcher in the centre of Mannheim and the Gymnastics Festival’s party mile.

“As the weather was unfortunately rainy most of the time we were happy to have a properly sealed roof”, commented the Technical Manager of the event.
