Opera Tent presents a new version
The traditional Summer Festival of the Federal President took place this year, too, on 1st July 2011. Around 2,000 citizens working on an honorary basis were invited from all over the Federal Republic to the festival bearing the motto "Promoting Solidarity". Some of them gave a brief insight into their voluntary work and presented their projects. The Federal President and his wife Bettina were pleased to be able to welcome children and young people for the first time to the summer festival. And this is how around 600 children also came to be among the total of around 5,600 guests along with celebrities from politics and society.
Nazan Eckes and Hape Kerkeling took the guests through the programme. Entertainment was provided by over 280 musicians and artists, the musical highlight was the Berlin band Silly Berlin. 75 chefs as well as 200 waiters were on hand to provide the guests with culinary specialities.
The organising agency CB.e Clausecker | Bingel. Ereignisse AG as well as the Federal President’s Office had already decided on Opera-Tent.com last year. For the new event concept, carried out for the first time last year, they were looking for an elegant stage roof that didn’t look too bulky but yet had a 260 sqm stage area. They found this balancing act between design and large stage surface in our roofing systems. Enthusiastic about the system and its quick setting up and dismantling, the choice for this year’s summer festival was once again made in favour of Opera-Tent due to our commitment.
The clients were visibly surprised when they saw the brand new and improved OES version. “You can clearly recognize the revision of the tent system – as if it had been given a face lift. This makes it appear even more stylish”, according to Orhan Köse, sub-division head of the event. Some technical improvements and innovations ensure an even better and absolutely wrinkle-free tension of the roof membrane.
