300 Years of Bruchsal Castle

Opera OnStage system as festival stage

For the Castle Festival 300 Years of Bruchsal Castle, the Opera 18x21 served as the main stage.

As the stage had to be partly installed in a listed fountain, the stage substructure was adapted to the subsoil. A special challenge was the weight distribution of the stage loads in the sandstone well. In order not to damage the well, certain loads could not to be exceeded. This was prevented by using a specially developed support structure and the stage could be realised. Thus, the stage itself became a technical and visual highlight.

At 9 events, our stage hosted artists such as the Stuttgart State Opera, the SWR Big Band, Gregory Porter, Alex Christensen & The Berlin Orchestra.
