Premiere of the Duo variant!

For the opening celebrations of Schwarzwald National Park, we set up our 18×21 Duo variant in the parking lot of the nature conservation center at Ruhestein, located nearly 1000m above sea level. With well over 1000 seats, the tent was well filled on May 3rd for the official part of the opening ceremony – despite fog and rain. Minister President Kretschmann and Minister Alexander Bonde emphasized the importance of the park in their speeches. “For Baden-Württemberg, nature conservation in the state, and the preservation of biological diversity, today’s ceremonial opening of Schwarzwald National Park is a historic day. The national park is therefore an important investment in our future,” Kretschmann emphasized.

Beyond the official part, there was a colorful program for young and old to experience throughout the entire weekend. Around 10,000 visitors took advantage of this, especially on Sunday in brilliant sunshine. In addition to guided tours through the park, there were cultural highlights on stage, a real adventure trail with many stands around the theme of national park and nature, as well as an extensive children’s program to experience.
