Premiere of Opera OnStage
Anyone who thought things would be quieter in the city of Schwäbisch Gmünd after last year’s State Garden Show will now be proven wrong. Together with citizens, everything was prepared for Gmünder Summer 2015. Our tent roof also serves as weather protection for various show acts.
Opera On Stage is the new variant of our tent construction system. The smaller model of size 10×12 is built on the Layher substructure, so you don’t lose usable height even with an integrated stage. The stage roof is connected to the stage, forming one unit. Through the connection of the roof with the stage floor, the ballast can be minimized very effectively, as the weight of the stage floor is also included in the calculation.
The city of Schwäbisch Gmünd purchased one of our tent roofs, which already caused excitement at the State Garden Show last year. The service contract between the city and Opera-Tent includes the annual assembly and disassembly of the tent. During winter storage periods, the membrane is cleaned, prepared and stored.
