Power plant inauguration with an 18×21 Duo

On September 1, 2016, the commissioning of the gas and steam turbine power plant planned since 2008 was celebrated in Cologne-Niehl. 350 million euros were invested to secure the future electricity and heat supply for Cologne’s residents and to attract new district heating customers. At a grand inauguration ceremony, speakers included Cologne’s Mayor Henriette Reker and North Rhine-Westphalia’s Minister President Hannelore Kraft. There was certainly reason to celebrate, and we were happy to provide an exclusive temporary event location with our 18×21 Opera Tent in the Duo variant. While the installation of translucent window panels at one end of the tent created a bright, cozy catering lounge, opaque OPAK panels darkened the other end, creating a stylish congress setting.
