Sun Sail

For the heated outdoor pool in Greifenberg, we constructed a sun sail for the children’s pool. The specially adapted sail covers about 2/3 of the children’s pool and provides shade for the little guests.

A particular challenge was founding the supports on peat subsoil. Thus, the sail had to be as low as possible and the foundations very large-scale in order to achieve the lowest possible settlement of the supports. Despite the difficulties, the result was impressive! Like a large, white manta ray, the sail dominates the newly built heated outdoor pool.
