Federal Competition “Jugend forscht” 2019
An Opera-Tent 10×12 in the Triple version served this year as the event location for the federal competition of “Jugend forscht” in Chemnitz.
The challenge with this setup was that the tent needed to accommodate an approximately 4-ton heavy 3D printer with unknown dynamic loads during operation. By decoupling it from the rest of the tent floor, it could be integrated into the overall construction.
