Opera OnStage System as Festival Stage
For the palace festival 300 Years Bruchsal Palace, the Opera 18×21 served as the main stage.
Since the stage had to be partially built into a monument-protected fountain system, the stage substructure was adapted to the ground conditions. A particular challenge was the weight distribution of the stage loads in the sandstone fountain. To avoid damaging the fountain, certain loads could not be exceeded. Through the use of a specially developed support structure, this was prevented and the stage could be realized. Thus, the stage itself became a technical and visual highlight.
Over 9 events, our stage hosted artists such as the Stuttgart State Opera, the SWR Big Band, Gregory Porter, Alex Christensen & The Berlin Orchestra.
